A New Beginning

With the crash of my system last week I thought what better time than now than to start fixing
what was broken, both mechanically, and artistically. Feeling burnt out like I have,
I have decided I need a recharge after I fix the comp. Whether that be skydiving or a road trip,
I need a change of pace, scenery, or just a different outlook. Whatever it is, I have the need
to break out. The new site will be up and running within a month or so, with the exception of
blogging here I have gotten a little sick and tired of some of the BS that goes on within the
inner workings of myspace and with the heads up from a friend, have become a member of Cherry Tap.
Anyone interested in not having to deal with the uninvited band requests, or the minors that are
far too pervasive on this site, or just the issue of dealing with the censorship that goes on within
this site should go check out http://www.cherrytap.com . As far as anyone underage is concerned,
only people 18+ are allowed to be members. Don't have to deal with the 20+ bands daily that try to add
you on there since there really aren't any bands that are members there. As far as the filter on
this network is concerned, as everyone knows, it really doesn't work. I am not saying that I am
giving up myspace, I am saying however I have found something better. Yes my blogging will continue here.
Guess I am just sick of censorship here in some cases which is understandable since you have a bunch
of wet behind the ear rugrats running around on this site thinking they know up from down.
Yet when it comes to other things such as groups like "Fuck the Troops" the powers that be on this site
don't seem to give a shit even though there have been countless attempts to get the group banned.
As anyone knows, my stance on this pathetic group of lowlifes is fuck them and anyone that supports them.
Come to think of it, I think that I once stated that one of the worst forms of life is for any
"good person" to stand by and do nothing when they see something wrong occuring.
So I guess I am saying I think that some of the powers that be at myspace who do stand by and do nothing
when groups like this continue to exist on this site aren't of much worth. Am I saying I am in
favor of censorship? Fuck no, but if you are going to censor things to shield certain people "kids"
who occupy your site, make sure you do it across the board. Exposure to hate groups like these are worse
than being exposed to perhaps a bare breast, or ass. So if any moderators at myspace decide to read this,
you fuckers have been put on notice. If myspace is so worried about kids seeing something that
they shouldn't, let myspace make a site devoted to people under 18. Leave the rest of myspace to
people 18+ since you are so devoted to your internet society. You people wish to keep your following,
then don't assume to be judge and jury for the rest of us telling us what we are allowed to read, hear,
or watch. By doing so you infringe upon the rights of others in this country. This makes you no better
than some countries that we have fought against in the past as well as in the present.
