NPC- And I am not talking about non player character here kids...

OK so here is my not politically correct rant for the month. Let me start off by saying to everyone
Happy Cinco de Mayo fuckers. I say this due to the fact that someone in LA had a pretty fucked up
sense of humor when the billboard for the Spanish language television station KRCA went up. Written across the bottom of said billboard was Los Angeles, CA with the California crossed out and replaced with Mexico. Ha-Ha, very funny motherfuckers. The last time I checked there was a border that separates Mexico from the rest of our what was once a great state. In my opinion it still is give or take a few minor problems. Is it me? Am I the the only asshole who finds a problem with the fact that Mexico will not allow the rest of the US to purchase land in their country. A number of years ago Mexico enacted a plan to only allow ninety-nine year leases of land in their country and they reserved the right to cancel the lease of said land at any time they pleased. People who once had bought land in Mexico were for one reason or another booted off said land without a valid reason. And yet day after day or borders are crossed by undocumented immigrants. We have even gone as far as to place water stations along trails known to be followed "for humanity purposes" so that individuals wishing to try to cross the border illegally stand a better chance of doing so. Meanwhile due to the fact that the immigrants are undocumented, California bears the burden of supporting most of the costs of providing for these people. When I say California, I mean most of us who live here. Every paycheck I see a good chunk of it taken out by the state and federal government to provide a source of income for those unable to work in this country. I am not singling out immigrants since I know there is a percentage of the population who take advantage of the system as well. But the facts still stand folks, if you cannot provide a source of documentation of who you are and where you live, you usually cannot obtain a decent job. Point two I have to make is that when the INS, Border Patrol, or any other entity cracks down on said population, the ACLU is not far behind to stick their nose in where it does not belong. I say this for the simple reason that the last time I checked the ACLU stands
for the AMERICAN CIVIL LIBERTIES UNION. Again is it me, or undocumented immigrants by law not citizens of the US? So what the hell are they doing whining and complaining that immigrants are being unfairly persecuted. Believe me folks, I feel unfairly persecuted every time someone turns their nose up at me or degrades me just for the simple fact that I do not comprehend Spanish. Check the papers recently? Quite a few positions that are offered nowadays require you to be bilingual. Being that I live in Los Angeles I come across a handful of residents that are unable to speak English. I do not feel myself or anyone else who lives within the US should be considered less marketable just because we do not speak spanish fluently. And before, you even try to judge me, take a look at the facts. I would not consider myself racist just because I believe the way that I do about this one situation, I believe everyone should be afforded every single god given right to freedom that is afforded to them by the US, "as long as they are here legally." I do love other people from other cultures, "an ex of mine whom I loved very much is hispanic" and consider everyone to be equal. I just have a problem with becoming a minority in my own state due to an influx of undocumented individuals who seem to think that I owe them a living, and then spit on me for not speaking a language which up until about ten years ago, was not a requirement for living here. PS, just so ya don't think I am totally against today, one good thing did come of it all historically speaking. The Mexican Army did kick the living shit out of the French. That and some damned
fine food of course.
