Adaptation.

If its been said once, its been said a million times kids, everything has been done before.
I don't care what type of spin is put on something, someone, somewhere, at some time has said,
or pulled the same shit you are about to pull and call your own. That does not mean that there
is not room to improve on some of your words or actions because there is always room to adapt the
ideas, theories and actions from your past or someone elses. Trust me, I think I have lived enough
to know this lesson by heart. I have lived, loved, lost, learned, made mistakes, corrected those
mistakes and continued to live my life in the best possible form I could in order to make it through
this cosmic game with the least amount of battle scars as possible. I came across a little piece of
advice for everyone in the likeliest of places last night after eating a bit of Chinese food last night.
My fortune read, "Your place in the path of life is in the driver's seat." How ironic that this is where
everyones place in the path of life is, or for the most part should be. For the past week or so I have
been discussing in depth life, love, growth, and the future with someone that I love and someone who
is very special to me. I have seen life, both mine and hers, and the changes that have occured within
each of us. With mistakes come lessons, within those lessons people learn correct paths within ourselves. I have watched the paths of my life ebb and flow from one point to another and have had to jump from one to another to stay within the boundaries I have set for myself. There have been instances where I have strayed from a path and found my spirit not in the right place it should be. Straying from a path can leave one corrupted by forces outside of oneself and leave you feeling hollow. I have felt that more than once and have learned that this occurs only when I am not living up to who I am. In essence during these brief occasions I turned myself into someone I did not know and eventually, did not like. I have learned to recognize these times usually before they occur and stop them before I allow them to take hold of my being and corrupt the person I have set myself to evolve to. I only put this out here for one reason. Love me, hate me, praise me, condemn me, whatever you choose to do don't ignore me or the message. Those of you who lave learned to adapt your life, and the paths that you take within it will flourish within your own realm of being. Those who do not will not live to see yourself evolve to be the being that you were set here to be. I think another great quote I have thought about tonight needed to be adapted to fit my life. I live my life a moment at a time. It is within these moments that I am truly free.
