Something More...

I think my current state could best be summed up by something I once heard. "How do you begin to pick
up the threads of a past life when in your heart you begin to understand there is no going back.
There are some things that time cannot mend some things that run so deep and take hold."
These things change one to the core of their being. Life itself is more than a fucking read through,
it needs loved completely and lived intensely. One should be inspired to do more with the life they are
given, to accomplish whatever they set out to complete. One should strive for more, to expand their
horizons, to evolve into a more complete being. All of us have a responsibility to ourselves, and to
others around us wether we see it  or not. We are all accountable for situations, be they around us,
or around the world. Problems do not occur randomly, there are events set in motion by situations,
usually caused by an individual or group and then brushed off, or worse blame is shifted to another
thereby no one taking responsibility. Rollins was right, we have become a disposable culture. Look at
the world around us, most everything is disposable in this day in age. We place little value in the
things we consume and that mode of thinking boys and girls is beginning to transfer over to people
themselves. Some individuals have begun to devalue life itself be it their own life, or the lives of
others. My question is why has it gotten to this point with some? Do they not see that life is priceless?
That everyone should grab onto life and squeeze with both hands and get everything they can out of it
before it is over. It must be just me again spouting off not just for myself, but for others as well
so that they to will attain an awareness of what life's meaning is to them, so that they then may use
that knowledge as a source of inspiration for their own life. Some people live in the present, even
cling to it like it is something so precious that it should not be shed,  not realizing that the present
itself is dying. One must live for the future, and should have the foresight to see what is needed.
I don't give a fuck what others might say about "no one person can fix the worlds problems."
Many of the worlds great movements of thought and action, have flowed from the work of a single person, each time a person stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against things that are in-just. They send out a ripple of hope for others, My hope is that this ripple will continue throughout the rest of humanity. I have been one of those in the past that has seen the glass as half empty, that has not really worked out well so I am flipping the switch and trying to see things the way they really should be seen. Boys and girls, the glass is half full and should be on its way to overflowing. Most people have seen things as they are and said why. I am dreaming of things now that have never happened and say why not. Is this being rebellious or even renegade? Perhaps, but what of it. Everything must have a beginning, I might as well be a start of one of those. With the proper inspiration, I shall be. Here is to hoping that you are as well.
