Nature of ones being.

Recently within the past couple of weeks I have been going through a bit of a metamorphosis partially due to my eyes being open and taking in the nature of those around me. When I say those, I refer to both people and groups, and actions taken by these individuals. People going around in their own little worlds living their lives within their bubble they call a universe without truly opening themselves something larger than themselves. And no I am not going religious on anyone. When I say something larger than themselves, I mean to say something bigger than their superficial nature. Everyone has one, it just takes an individual with strength of character to break through that to establish stonger connections with things, and people, and causes, and ideals that surround them every minute of the Going through the motions of life isn't enough for the spirit of a person. It is merely existing. Existence isn't enough. It may be for some, but it isn't for me. Nor is it for people that I have gotten to know and continue to get to know. These are people who have something to offer to themselves and to the rest of society. These people are the type of individuals who strive to develop lasting connections with everything that surround them, rather than just being preoccupied with themselves only. I guess I have gotten sick and fucking tired of petty groups and people who think that the rest of us owe them something without needing to give anything back. It isn't a healthy way to go through life boys and girls. While it is true that everyone is owed something, it is not true that everyone else owes us something and we deserve everything with little to no effort. We owe ourselves something. That something is the life we have been given. It is a gift that can only be enriched by fostering strong connections with things and people around us. These connections help foster stonger ties to one's family, one's friends, one's significant others , and to oneself. Without a higher purpose in ones life other than oneself, life is just a waste of time. How do you want to spend the rest of yours is the question.
